The Philadelphia Inquierer tells us that 85,000 people have dropped their health care in Pa, but a better description would be that 85,000 people were priced out of their health care in Pennsylvania. They decided the only option for surviving the year is the roll the dice that nothing catastrophic will happen that will destroy their finances for decades.

I have all but given up hope that the common person in America will ever wake up to the need to socialize essential needs and therefore we have no guaranteed health coverage and they are trying to destroy public education in every way imaginable.

In today's quote of the day, Kurt Vonnegut tries to get people to realize how silly it is to oppose socializing such fundamental services.
