Some people would say that our president has serious insecurity issues. That he needs to put his name on everything possible because he knows he is a Jack-Ass and that his only way to get the attention that he craves is to center himself in every situation he can think of.

Over 500 years ago, Erasmus wrote an entire work satirizing the fragile ego of men like Trump. Making fun of these weak-minded men he penned, "A man does right to praise himself if he can't find anyone else to praise him". Obviously, the only people who praise him are sycophants who seek to curry his favor and he knows that their praise will evaporate as soon as he is no longer around to grant them positions of power.
