Malala tells us that not a day goes by that we don't see or hear something about the horrors that women and girls are living through. But no matter how painful these stories might be, we should never scroll past them. For, if nothing else, we can be a witness to their suffering and their courage.

Tomorrow we can do a little more than just being a witness, we can get out on the streets and let our displeasure be seen by all the world. The group that brought us the Women's March is having a Nation Day of Action to Stop Sexual Violence. If you are in the Philadelphia area, the event will be at City Hall at 4 pm. If you are not in this area, use their website to find a demonstration near you.
