Over 100 years ago, W.E.B. DuBois tried to get us to realize that "this world has never taken the education of children seriously" and that "practical immortality [can be achieved] through the endless life of children's children". That can only occur by dedicating ourselves to the education and well being of children all around the world. Instead, we see techbro billionaires doing everything they can to fulfill their "selfish dreamings of personal life forever."

There are half a billion uneducated or severely undereducated children on a planet with approximately 2 billion people under the age of 18. With so much wealth in the world at this time, I cannot help but believe our legacy will be one of neglect.
