It seems crazy that the federal government can add regulations to college sports, while removing regulations to protect our national parks, endangered species, water and air, and workers' safety, among others. It also makes no sense that it will cap the pay and mobility of the athletes but not the coaches.

Athletes went generations without the right to be paid for their work and with very limited mobility. Just as the pendulum begins to swing in their favor, we find the federal government has the willpower to swing it back in favor of those who already hold power.
