As the United States sleepwalked toward civil war and a more imperial outlook toward to the rest of the the world, Henry David Thoreau was one of the people who were awake to what was happening. He tried to tell all who would listen that any of them had the potential to make a real difference by pushing back against the injustices of the time.

Unfortunately, we are also in a time with many of the same dynamics are at play. So today I echo his words out into the universe and, at the same time, shine a spotlight on a man who may not have been well-known outside of his community, but now is having his words heard all around the world.

This man came out to a protest run by Cooper River Indivisible right here in South Jersey and he was interviewed by one of the media team members. His call for a moral government resonated with people all across the world. Listen to what he has to say in the post below.
