Every day seems to bring more depressing news making everything seem hopeless. It feels like we are on the brink of a world war, ocean currents are collapsing much more quickly than was predicted, and hate seems to the new guiding light of our country.

Herman Melville tells us that even if we can't get any other good out of the world, at least get a good diner and for that, come to my home town of Pitman, NJ that is somehow ranked the 4th best food scene for a small town in the country*.

*The food is fine...but I think this ranking is way too high!!
