Ben Franklin told us that no matter how much order and harmony might exist in the heavens, there certainly will not be harmony among those who study the universe. It is competing theories having to stand up to rigorous experiments that finally settles these age-0ld arguments.

Then we have the case of what makes a planet, and that was decided by a vote, 20 years ago this week. All this time later and we rightfully have scientists still growling and snarling at one another like strange curs.
