It's not often that a publication like Nature has a piece on the death of an entertainer, but as we said a few days ago, "Dolly was one person picked out of 8 billion". One of the points made in the article is that Dolly was a big proponent of bringing knowledge to communities that are often plagued by illiteracy. As Bakunin told us in the 1800s, it benefits those in power to keep knowledge, especially scientific knowledge, out of the purview of the masses.
So I once again use my voice to thank Dolly for giving people the power of knowledge in an effort to help them understand the world around them.
