This week Bruce Springsteen released "Streets of Minneapolis" to bring to light what has been happening as the brave residents of the city push back against the actions of ICE. The song shines a spotlight on the heroic actions of the common person and the inhuman actions of our current administration.
Sophocles wrote over 2000 years ago that "No poem or play or song can fully right a wrong inflicted or endured", but Springsteen's work will make sure that these sacrifices will not be forgotten or ignored. Generations from now people will hear this song and once again relive the emotions that all of us felt during this dark period of our country's history.
