Kurt Vonnegut's statement that "a scientist can be an accessory to murder most foul" has been part of our consciousness ever since the Manhattan Project, but never since that time have scientists and engineers of all stripes been more culpable for the death and destruction caused by their work than over the past few years.
We now have a few Western governments that have been taken over by psychopaths who have no qualms about violating international agreements and who smirk at the idea of rules of engagement. But as always, these monsters are powerless without the work of the engineers and scientists who bring their warped visions of humanity to life.
Don't just direct your anger toward those at the top of our government, but also raise your voice against all of those who are lending their special skills to these efforts.
